BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Baldwin specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology with a focus in family planning, adolescent gynecology, and early pregnancy management. She is particularly interested in office-based procedures as an alternative to the operating room. She is involved in clinical research of the timing of IUD placement after delivery and improving pain during office procedures. Other research projects include management of very early pregnancy and educational methods for training gynecologic exams. Dr. Baldwin enjoys the variety of her work which includes clinical care, teaching, research, international service, advocacy work and local provider training.
Dr. Baldwin grew up in Seattle but has been a Portland transplant since coming to OHSU in 2002 for medical school. She has a young family and enjoys reading mystery novels, cycling and listening to radio shows.
