BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Derek J. Bond is a fellowship-trained surgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of conditions affecting the upper extremity. His special interest is in fracture treatment and joint arthroplasty (replacements) for arthritis.
After earning his medical degree, he completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University. He then pursued a hand, upper extremity, and microvascular fellowship at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Bond is passionate about creating relationships with his patients so he can tailor care to meet their individual needs. As Hillsboro is Dr. Bond’s hometown, he is honored to care for the same community where he was raised.
In his free time, he enjoys fishing, upland bird hunting, hiking, cycling and wood working.
