Using doll models you’ll practice swaddling and baby massage.
Got a baby wrap? Bring it with you, because you’re going to learn how to use it!
This class will help you understand and nurture the precious world of newborns. We’ll delve into the fundamentals of caring for your baby’s physical and emotional needs, from diapering to soothing cries and fostering healthy development.
We’ll embark on a journey of deepening the bond between you and your baby. We’ll explore the power of touch through the art of newborn massage and learn gentle strokes that unlock relaxation, improved sleep, and deeper communication.
This class isn’t just about learning techniques, it’s about igniting your confidence as a parent or caregiver. We’ll create a safe space to share experiences, ask questions, and build a supportive community.
Have fun using doll models as we cover –
- Umbilical cords, diapering, bathing routines, etc.
- Understanding infant communication: Cues, cries, and body language.
- Soothing techniques: Calming cries, dealing with gas, promoting relaxation.
- Infant massage: Learn gentle strokes and sequences for bonding and relaxation.
- Building a calm and nurturing environment: Sensory stimulation, safe sleep spaces, and routines.
You’ll also receive The Understanding Your Newborn book and web app providing additional learning from any mobile device or computer.
