Aquablation therapy for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is an enlarged prostate that has grown to be larger than normal.  It can cause lower urinary tract symptoms that affect the ability to hold urine and empty the bladder.

Aquablation is an advanced treatment for BPH that uses a robotically-controlled and heat-free waterjet to precisely remove excess prostate tissue. The incision-less treatment has been shown to provide long-lasting relief of urinary tract symptoms.

The procedure takes a half-hour to an hour, plus an overnight hospital stay. You will need a catheter for one to seven days depending on the size of your prostate and how much your bladder empties after the procedure.

Ask your urologist if minimally invasive aquablation is an option for you.
