BIOGRAPHY

I enjoy gastroenterology for the complex and diverse conditions we treat and the variety of clinical and procedure experience. It is very rewarding to make the taboo nature of GI issues comfortable to discuss and to educate patients so they can make the best medical decisions for their personal goals and lifestyle. Most of all, I enjoy the relationships I get to develop with patients, whether for a brief procedure or for long term management of GI issues.

My clinical interests include general gastroenterology and endoscopy, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, GERD, eosinophilic esophagitis and liver disease.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest, woodworking, watching Liverpool FC, and being the sous chef at home.
