BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Rivfka Shenoy is a board certified general surgeon who specializes in foregut and bariatric surgery with minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Shenoy performs bariatric, foregut and general surgery with both basic laparoscopic and robotic techniques. She also focuses on complex benign diseases of the stomach and esophagus, including gastroparesis, revisional surgery and motility disorders.

She completed her undergraduate and medical degree with honors and is pleased to have settled down only miles from where she grew up in Portland.

Serving the local community is important to her. She completed a Masters in Health Policy and Management during a two-year research fellowship with the National Clinician Scholars Program. Dr. Shenoy uses health services research to understand differences and potential disparities in care for disease processes without clear standardization.

She enjoys hiking and being outdoors with her two children and husband. On rainier days you can find her reading a good book.
