BIOGRAPHY
Kristin Marie Giroux is a certified nurse midwife with clinical interests in contraception, sexual health, and reproductive health. She was drawn to midwifery to provide sexual and reproductive care to diverse populations. Her special interests include adolescent sexual and reproductive health, diversification of the healthcare workforce, and border health.
She is fluent in Spanish and practiced as a midwife for six years in the Southwest. She has been actively involved in professional education, teaching midwifery to medical students.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and traveling. Being new to the area, she is looking forward to exploring the Pacific Northwest.
