BIOGRAPHY
Kieu Hernandez is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in adult and geriatric medicine.
Her passion for life sciences began during her internship at NASA’s Johnson Space Center with the United Space Research Association. This experience inspired her future career in health care.
After earning her nursing degree at Baylor College of Medicine, she worked in cardiac critical care at Providence St. Vincent’s Hospital. To expand her expertise, Kieu earned her nurse practitioner degree from Georgetown University.
Kieu’s clinical interests include orthopedic surgery, prophylaxis treatment and management of osteoporosis. She is actively engaged in orthopedic medical treatments that focus on improving patient functionality and quality of life.
Kieu is fluent in Vietnamese and is excited to be learning Spanish. Outside of work, she likes to kayak, boat and fish.
