BIOGRAPHY
Annjanette (AJ) Sommers is a board-certified physician associate at Hillsboro Medical Center Gastroenterology Clinic.
Her career began as an emergency medical technician and patient care technician, which fostered her deep appreciation for patient-centered care. She then worked in community health center, pediatric, and primary care settings.
Annjanette also spent 12 years as an associate professor at Pacific University mentoring future physician associates.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her loving husband and their four children. Growing up in Idaho, she has developed strong opinions on the best ways to cook potatoes, a topic she enjoys discussing with great enthusiasm.
