BIOGRAPHY

Luis joined Hillsboro Medical Center after earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Pacific University. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, he was part of the Hillsboro Medical Center team, working in the Diagnostic Imaging department while completing his graduate studies.

A lifelong athlete, Luis participated in multiple sports growing up, with a particular passion for soccer that later evolved into an interest in strength and fitness training. His personal experiences as a bilingual individual raised within a community of low-income immigrant families inspired his commitment to providing compassionate and culturally responsive care.

He has a special interest in serving Spanish-speaking patients and helping improve access to rehabilitation services for underserved populations throughout Hillsboro and the surrounding communities.

Outside of work, Luis enjoys playing soccer, hiking with his dog, exploring local restaurants and spending time playing online video games.
