TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY

As a Certified Athletic Trainer, Erin believes her role is to help in the prevention, care and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.  Her aim is to educate athletes, parents and coaches in the proper management of injuries, especially in regards to concussions.  She wants to ensure that athletes are fully recovered from their injuries so they can quickly and safely return to their sport.  Erin’s emphasis is on functional training in order to mimic what athletes/patients do in their daily life and in their sport.

BIOGRAPHY

Erin joined Hillsboro Medical Center in 2007 after working for SportsCare Physical Therapy in Gresham.  She has spent time volunteering as medical personnel for the Nike World Masters Games and the former Portland Power Women’s professional basketball team.  She also has served as an Athletic Trainer for Rugby Oregon, the OSAA, and Nike. In Erin’s downtime you will find her running, traveling, and playing golf.
