Today, Tuality Healthcare was pleased to welcome Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici to their Hillsboro campus for a tour of several facilities and outreach services.  Rep. Bonamici recently introduced the EQUIP Act to empower women to make informed care decisions that improve health conditions, so services focusing on women’s health, including Tuality’s mobile mammography unit, breast health services and the OHSU Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic were showcased.

“Families thrive when women have access to comprehensive, supportive health care within their communities,” said Congresswoman Bonamici. “I enjoyed touring Tuality Healthcare’s Hillsboro campus and learning more about the services they offer. I’m committed to improving access to health care, strengthening women’s health programs, and empowering women to live healthy lives.”

Rep. Bonamici also visited the Tuality/OHSU Cancer Center which opened in 2002 and was Tuality’s first partnership with Oregon Health and Science University, as well as the first facility in Washington County to offer radiation oncology treatments for cancer patients.  A tour of Tuality’s ¡Salud! Services mobile unit offered a look at the medical outreach provided to Oregon vineyard workers.

“It was an honor to host Congresswoman Bonamici and highlight the specialty care and outreach we’re providing to our community through our affiliation with OHSU,” said Lori James-Nielsen, President of Tuality Healthcare.  “We sincerely appreciate her interest in the work we’re doing and her commitment to health care.”
